If so, we’ve been peeking in on your neighbors, and have a few suggestions for *your* big project! Take just one or two of these suggestions or take them all… **#1 Fridge Drawers** [![kitchen remodeling fridge drawers](https://www.kitchensbathsunlimited.com/hs-fs/file-33355517-jpg/images/kitchen-remodeling-fridge-drawers-208x300.jpg?width=208&height=300&name=kitchen-remodeling-fridge-drawers-208x300.jpg "kitchen remodeling fridge drawers")](https://www.kitchensbathsunlimited.com/hs-fs/file-33356146-jpg/images/kitchen-remodeling-fridge-drawers.jpg) Fridge Drawers Once you have them, you’ll never want to live without them. These drawers make everything easier to get to and put away. If you’re buying a new refrigerator for your kitchen, *definitely* consider one with plenty of drawer options. **#2 Moen Sensor Faucet** As motion sensor technology becomes more reliable (and *less* frustrating!) many of our kitchen remodels in the North Shore area are including [Moen sensor faucets](http://www.moen.com/about-moen/smart-innovations/motionsense). There *are *other brands, but our kitchen designers always recommend Moen when it comes to sensor faucets. **#3 Automatic Waste Basket** Keep your hands (and your kitchen) cleaner with an automatic wastebasket. This is perhaps the inexpensive action you can take in your kitchen remodel. However, the trashcan is one of the most-used items in the entire kitchen! **#4 Chrome Basket Pullout Pantry** This one’s a real space-saver! Simply slide the pantry shelf out from the wall. Store *tons* of food, and then push it back out of sight! **#5 Wine Cooler / Beverage Center** Wine coolers are more compact and energy efficient than ever before. Even the most casual wine-drinkers among our clients have seen the entertaining benefits of a compact wine cooler. If you’re a real wine-lover, we can help set you up with something that can store *plenty *of wine. **#6 Hidden Spice & Cooking Oil Storage** Many of our kitchen renovation clients are latching onto streamlined, space-saving ideas. One of our favorite little tricks is ditching the clunky spice rack for a hidden spice and cooking oil storage unit that’s recessed in the wall or backsplash. **#7 Corner Drawers (No More Lazy Susans)** It used to be that the Lazy Susan was virtually your only option for dealing with awkward cabinet corners. These days, things are different. Innovative corner drawers allow for *much* more efficient kitchen planning. **#8 Message Center for Device Charging** Does your kitchen currently feature a nest of wires and tangled charging equipment? Consolidate it all in a hidden message center for device charging. **#9 Air Switch for Garbage Disposal** Instead of flipping an electric switch on your garbage disposal, try an air switch, a safe device that uses a puff of air to engage the garbage disposal, thereby eliminating your risk of shock.
